Hell yeah...cast aside all doubts and move forward one week at a time. We beat them all last year and we'll beat them all this year too!!

I predict a pissed off BG team tonight. They will strike fast. Let's get out of Oxford with a big W and no more injuries.

I sadly expect more of the same. A slow start and the defense having to keep BG in it during the first half. If I were a betting man (which I am) I'd take Miami to cover the +23.5 spread tonight (which I did).

I would take that bet too. I would just be happy with a win, regardless of the margin. As we've seen, nothing is a guarantee.

This is a team we should crush from the opening kickoff. However..

This Miami team is horrible, especially on offense. I fully expect a bad start and to go into the 2nd quarter tied at 3 or something. Even if BG comes out flat, Miami won't be able to score more than 10 points.

If BG is ready to go, this could be a 49-0, 56-3 type game. I expect BG to do their typical first half milling around before putting together 3 or 4 straight scoring drives and comfortably winning.

Prediction - BG 41 - Miami 6.

This is how I see it...I think we're gonna be mega pissed. I know the slow starts have killed us the last two games and hoping tonight is a new beginning.

On paper, we should roll this team 45-3...on paper.

The "no more injuries" is very important.

Nice to go out and beat the crap out of a bad team. I hope this was the confidence builder they needed.

Damn. And I was going to give credit in the other thread for the poster that predicted 21-28 points and a shutout in the second half! Nice guess! ;)

Glad I didn't place any bets on this one. I was fully expecting a win, but very pleased to see we did it in such dominating fashion. I started to feel bad for the Miami kids getting beat so bad, then I thought about it and realized, after all, they are still Miami, so I didn't feel so bad anymore. It was nice to see us drub a team that way.

What was even more of a surprise was the score of the OU/Buffalo game. Horrible calls against Ohio aside, I guess the question, "is Buffalo for real?" was answered.

Miami was absolutely HORRIBLE in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Kudos to our guys for absolutely destroying them physically, but whoever ends up as the long term HC there has some serious work to do. You just can NOT win when your lines are getting dominated like that. Every offensive play for BG it didn't seem like it mattered what we dialed up. Either Green was going to have a gaping hole to run for 10 yards, or Johnson was going to have 10 mins in the pocket. On the other side of the ball our DL did a good job getting pressure and making plays in the backfield. Nice to see that we didn't really have issues with their game of musical QBs either.

I'll admit this was such a butt whooping I fell asleep midway through the 3rd quarter. I don't look at that as a bad thing!

Let's keep rolling boys. They won't all be this easy, but it's nice to see us come out and dominate a team we should dominate.

If you look at Buffalo, they have beaten inferior opponents much like us.... UMass(1 W), Kent(2 W), EMU(1 W), UConn(0 W), WMU (1 W). They beat Stony Brook in 5OT (a 3-5 FBS team). Granted, there only losses were to Baylor and Ohio State. Ohio is their only "legit" win. I'm interested to see how they do against Toledo.
