Ohio has 3 MAC losses, so they won't be part of any tie-breaker. It's just head-to-head between BG and Buffalo.

I didn't realize they lost to Central. That is unfortunate.

The loss to Toledo sucked in many ways, but in terms of the bowl picture, it also gives UT a big edge over BG because one, that game helped their overall record and hurt ours, and two, they won head to head. If this was next season with all the new bowls lined up, we'd be looking really good. But with the bowls filling up, the bottom line is, we need to win the East.

Losing to a team as crappy as EMU wouldn't be meaningless, standings or not. Win the game, go to Buffalo, create a great moment for the school in an NFL stadium. Play for a championship, go to a bowl.

I'm feeling pretty good about the last two games of the season. EMU should give us a chance to get the backups in once again and build even more confidence. Buffalo is a similar team to BG, run first, control the ball and let the defense get stops. I think their numbers against Toledo last week were an anomaly and I don't expect them to be able to replicate those type of numbers against BG. It is great though to know the last two games of the season have a ton riding on it.

Hopefully that loss to Kent on our home field is fueling the upperclassmen right now. Take care of business this year fellas!

I am already anxious about the UB game because so much is now riding on it. But I am loving what I have seen out of this team since the Toledo loss. The all-around game against Ohio may have been our best performance in all phases in the Clawson era IMO. If we play like that against UB, we'll win. Period.
