Ads (Google Adsense Bot)

Has anybody noticed double green lines underneath certain words on the site? When you mouse-over them, ads pop up for things.

It just started happening today. I noticed down at the bottom of the page under active users that "Google Adsense Bot" was active within the last 5 minutes (which was also underlined in green).

Is that causing it? If so, can it be blocked?

You have a virus. Someone on another board posted the same thing. He found a virus inside Google Chrome.

Fantastic.... I don't use chrome though. I use Firefox.

Just install Spybots and run it regularly.

I've had it and it still got through. It's not finding it when I run a scan.

Try this site, Musicman. It was developed by a guy who writes the computer help column in the local paper. You'll need to do the "Windows Waltz".

It takes a while, but you have to follow all the steps completely and it does a good job of cleaning out anything you might have picked up.
