How far have you traveled to see us play?
I am curious to see how far people have gone to watch the BG Hockey team play!
For me, the furthest I have gone was up to Sault St. Marie, from BG.

I went up to Ferris State when I was a student.

I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

I used to drive from Flint to BG for games. Away games I've only made it to Columbus, Ann Arbor (is a whore), and the Joe.

Certainly not the farthest, but I once drove from Alexis Road near 23 in Toledo to a game against the bucks in Columbus in the old air plane hangar.
That in itself isn't particularly special, but considering I left work at about 6:00 on a Friday night, with no ticket mind you, and got to Columbus and was somehow able to find a ticket to a sold-out game and see basically only the third period of the game, I thought that was a pretty good sign of my dedication to the team...or at least a pretty stupid sign.

Correction, we went to Las Vegas to watch the hockey team play Western when they were hoping BG Football would be playing in the Vegas bowl, but that part didn't work out...BGFan wrote:Furthest north: Bemidji MNFreddie wrote:Furthest west: Omaha NE

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
