Ford Filed Section Availability By School

Post by bg1984 »

Out of curiosity I checked the Event Tickets Page on the Ford Field Website to see what kind of ticket availability there is for the game.

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but at the $20.00 price point we have 2 sections with ticket availability: 126 and 128 and NIU has 1 section: 107 When I requested 24 tickets I could not get any. 20 gave me tickets in both our sections, but up in rows 38 and 40. I got the same result with section 107

At the $15.00 price point we have 4 sections with ticket availability: 123, 124. 125 and 132, and NIU has 7: 102, 103, 104, 108, 109, 110 and 111. When I put in 20 tickets for section 124 (which looks to be at the 15/20 yard line) I could get tickets, but up in row 41. That would be the last row at the top. When I purchased my tickets Sunday it looked to me as if they were selling from the bottom up.

I'm not sure exactly what this means, but my optimistic side tells me that we have done very well with tickets sales and as I would expect, because of the proximity of Detroit, we are going to outdraw NIU.

I'd love to have that lower bowl from sections 122-132 be a sea of Orange & Brown!

Dang...somebody has some idle time...lol

Not sure if it means anything, but NIU only filled 3 student buses. We filled 10. Granted our buses might not all be students, but I'm assuming it mostly is!

We filled 10 FAN buses! This does not count students. Not sure how many student buses are going up, but at least one. We will have a good showing!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
