When do the updated rankings and the bowl bids come out?

I don't think we will be ranked and it is very likely that we are going to Mobile, but when will we know for sure??

The Blade's John Harris thinks we will end up in Detroit against Pittsburgh, which would be a fun game. But he's guessing. We just have to wait for an announcement. We will know before midnight.

BG got 12 votes in the Coaches Poll, good for 32nd. Bowl selection will be done before 9pm tonight. Either Detroit or Mobile for the Falcons.

Rumors are starting to spill on Twitter. By process of elimination, it looks like Bowling Green may be in Detroit. Also looks like Buffalo versus San Diego State in Boise, Ball State versus Arkansas State in Mobile, and Northern Illinois in San Diego (perhaps against Fresno State; ESPN seems to be trying to make that happen). Guessing Toledo ends up in St. Pete. But rumors are moving fast, and clearly some things aren't quite settled yet.

Yet again, a tough non-conference schedule hurts a MAC team while a lighter one helps in the end. If they didn't play both Florida (when they were healthy) and Missouri they'd likely have 8 wins and a bowl bid.
