BG is having trouble keeping up with Toledo talent. Clawson can coach- but has some receivers with bad hands. Don Nehlen could coach but had the Miami Whammy necklace around his neck/ letting him go maybe a mistake. Not sure someone could come in and do as well.

Don Nehlen came to mind for me today, too. I agree with all of this, basically, including the part about keeping up with Toledo talent. They seem to have more talent right now. To the extent we have an issue, that's the issue.

I remember well, a conversation with Doyt Perry, right after we had hired a new coach. He said........"You can talk all you want about beating Miami and OU and even championships, but you BETTER beat Toledo!"
