Re: Dear New Coach...here is what you should have to work wi
1. You will return a stud QB
2. You will return a fleet of RBs
3. Your WR group should be great to amazing depending on Moore's status
4. You are losing your top TE's
5. Your losing the interior strength of your OL
1. The defense loses alot but returns Lynch and Martin Both Studs.
2. Three other starters will be back
2. You will return a fleet of RBs
3. Your WR group should be great to amazing depending on Moore's status

Just speculation. He is a true Freshman so it wouldn't cost him much.daspollak wrote:Is there anything on Moore leaving, if so where?Globetrotter wrote:1. You will return a stud QB

Speaking of Moore...I never heard/saw anything...but did he get hurt in the MACC? He had that monster first quarter and was never really heard from again the rest of the game.

He played the whole game and made a tackle or two on some kick returns. It appeared he was penciled in early in the game plan to help take some pressure off the run and open up other options in the passing game.Redwingtom wrote:Speaking of Moore...I never heard/saw anything...but did he get hurt in the MACC? Wow...you don't know Ronnie Moore...you wouldn't know him if he literally walked up to you and kicked you in the junk, but you're going to start discussing his "status" vis a vis a transfer? You're comfortable starting rumors about someone you never met? And by speculating that he's going to transfer without any evidence other than a guess, you are indeed starting rumors. That is so...irresponsible.

That's not a rumor. Speculation based on circumstances is not rumor. You are being exceptionally dramatic over the last few days. We all go in cycles. I will forgive you because of your generally likeable qualities. Did you have a problem with people talking about Elko or Ruggierro leaving? Is that irresponsible?Flipper wrote:Wow...you don't know Ronnie Moore...you wouldn't know him if he literally walked up to you and kicked you in the junk, but you're going to start discussing his "status" vis a vis a transfer? As far as Ronnie Moore goes, when a current coach leaves there is inevitably discussion about current players who were recruited by this staff and current verbal "commitments" leaving. This discussion has happened in other threads on this board already by many people who are not me. There is nothing wrong with this discussion. As far as singling out Ronnie Moore he is the only true freshman on the 2-deep who really flashed rare ability. William Houston was very good but he just transferred. Not sure what his status is or he would be on the list too.
Re: Dear New Coach...here is what you should have to work wi
Why start this "speculation?" Talking like this kid is too good to play football here is in no way productive, in fact I could see it as pretty counterproductive if speculation like this gained momentum. There are a lot of people that frequent this site and don't post.

Oh c'mon. Now there are phantom lurkers that we have to worry about? If they are smart enough to find this place they are smart enough to know this is just discussion about what chips might fall MIght fall might fall after a coach leaveskdog27 wrote:Why start this "speculation?" Sitting out the 1yr hurts most transfers. They have it stacked against them, and many times if there isn't immediate playing time they grow disgruntled and quit. (Stokes anybody?) We will see what happens, but I am pretty sure he will remain a Falcon.

You're basically telling everyone Moore is too good of an athlete for BG.

Okay, let's back up. Please provide the reasoning for even making this statement...and bring something concrete. Thanks.Globetrotter wrote:1. You will return a stud QB
