A place to reminisce about the past or talk about the future of BGSU and Bowling Green.

I haven't read the specifics....but clearly some major changes have to be made. The status quo isn't sustainable going forward

The meeting where they presented their report was rather interesting. Nothing seemed too entirely drastic. Some things that they suggested will anger certain constitutent groups, but you'll never get past that.

Cutting back on Gen Ed courses will help to cut those classes that have little or no interest. We actually have several courses listed that NEVER run. BGSU is actually in the process of recertifying the Gen Ed. courses, requiring that they meet new criteria. That will serve to trim down the number of offerings and ensuring that the courses that are offered are worthy of the listing.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought we were revisiting one of my favorite YouTube videos brought to us by our MAC neighbors in Muncie: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W45DRy7M1no
