Uniform and helmet for the bowl?

Anyone know what combination we'll be wearing for the bowl game? Kinda wouldn't mind seeing us mix up our look a little. We've been in all white everything for the last three games after going with different combinations for most of the season. It would be nice to see a splash of orange in there somewhere. I still like the orange jersey, white pants and white helmet look the best.

Do you have any reasonable explanation for this post....or are you just trying to start up some P.O.'d Azzers?
For once and for all, BLACK is NOT a color that should be used by BG...I've said it before; if Adidas can't provide OUR school colors, then we need a new supplier.

When did our basketball team go black? I missed that!

I normally like black but we are in a tough situation with one of our primary colors being brown which absolutely doesn't work with black. I'd probably be pm with a black look and orange accents as a special jersey for the bowl game but wouldn't want it as a primary uni for us since it necessarily cuts brown out of our colors.

Personally I'm a fan of orange jerseys with brown and white accents. Never been a fan of our brown jerseys that have no orange.

Yeah...orange jerseys with brown and white accents with white pants is a good look. Or Brown with white trim, white pants and the orange helmet. Brown jerseys and orange pants...it's a bit much

FWIW My nephew asked for an NIU jersey for Xmas. The one where they had the flag on the shoulder pads. Not sure I can track it down but those were awesome.

When did our basketball team go black? I missed that!

Basketball actually broke out the all black for a home game early last year, maybe against Detroit I think. They had it on again last week at Xavier. I loved it!!! Basketball actually has four uniform colors: white, orange, black and grey. In terms of football, I don't expect to all of a sudden see a new uniform color. I'm kinda guessing we've been going all white for superstition at this point having worn the same combination the last three games (EMU, UB, NIU) after mixing it up the last two years. Although, we started this streak wearing orange/white/orange at Miami and all orange vs Ohio. I saw the Pizza Bowl photo and they had the white helmet so I am expecting that's what we'll be wearing again on top.

I think that at least once a year every team should sport some flashy new audacious jersey that makes the old fans cringe but gets noticed and the youths like it. I want to see a black and orange striped combo! Or have all our peeps dress up like falcons.
