BG vs More Head (lol)

Morehead came out with the early lead but Holmes and Co. had a strong second half and BG posts a 67-61 win.

BG now surprisingly 5-5 now on the season.

Nice, did you watch it? I totally forgot about this game and was stuck at the mall. How did we look?

I didn't watch. I was at the stadium working the Colts game. I went back and saw we trailed most of the 1st period by 8-10 points. Outscored them by 10 in the 2nd. Holmes starting to take over this team. Clarke is TERRIBLE. His stats show it. If we could have a pass first pg and a guard whom could shoot. Come MAC time this team will be burnt out. Can't play only 7 players and 7 is a stretch.

It was an ugly game. Both teams were sloppy. First half we had 15-16 TO and about the same number of fouls. MHead shot terribly and kept us in it as we were behind by 10 and closed to 4 at the half. Second half our defense played well and we cut back on the TO and fouls. We made some foul shots down the streatch, mainly Holmes. All 5 starters scored double figures. Holmes and Black had 12 or more bocks between them. We were beaten badly on the boards despite Black getting 12.

Somehow we won. Sealey did not play. We played 6 with Lyshe and Gomez getting a few minutes each.
