It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That would all be committing major NCAA violations if they say boo to him.
I think there is a vast difference in how things actually work and how the rules say they are supposed to work and how many people here seem to think college football works.

It's closer to this.

Everyone has to cheat to compete because everyone else is cheating and if they didn't they couldn't compete. Some rules are just suggestions.

I don't think we cheat...we've never had a major violation here. Hell, the program self reported to the NCAA when a football verbal had a hotdog at a tailgate with people from the board. Hence the sticky on NCAA rules from Grant...I asked Brandon what became of that at a recruiting reception and he said the kid had to pay BG $10 to square things. Compare and contrast that to the history of Jim Tressel or whomever....

I don't think all major programs cheat...I think the cheaters are the exception rather than the rule.

Agree to disagree. Think about how Osu and Miami and I think even USC got caught. FBI or law enforcement investigations that happened to turn up these other things. I would assume this happens everywhere and most places are either smarter about it, luckier or don't have as many people willing to give handouts.

Just speculation. He is a true Freshman so it wouldn't cost him much.
From today...
“It's better for me, if we're going to spread the ball around,” said BG freshman wide receiver Ronnie Moore. Moore said he thinks he can pick up Babers' offensive plan very fast, and that it's going to be fun.

“I had one question for him. I asked him: What offense do you run? He said 'have you seen the Baylor offense?' And I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'That's your offense right there.' I said, 'That's fine with me.”

Awesome. To be honest when I found out about his offense and where he was coming from my first thought was Ronnie Moore isn't going anywhere...... but probably the NFL in a few years. The WRs must be elated.

No doubt the WRs must be elated. His WR corps that he coached in Baylor are all playing, and playing WELL on Sundays.

This line should be the one to watch.

TE Scott Davis 6-4 245 Fr® Logan Larson 6-3 250 Fr Hunter Folekertsma 6-5 236 Fr Andrew Posbielski 6-5 227

The Recruit can play DE. Not sure about the other 3 and where they might end up. We also just added a Juco TE recruit.

Wow, we are in trouble on the D line. With Maynards leaving and the seniors gone we are thin. Very smallish. I hope that is an emphasis of recruiting. Dont want us to go backwards there.... The loss of the tackles is going to hurt...

Yep.

They Baylor offense is nearly unstoppable. They spread defenses every direction and aren't afraid to gash them with running plays either.

We're fine so far as the Dline goes. At DT...the rotation should include Colvin, Minns, Jackson (*** transfer from Pitt) and Lunsford, who really showed a lot in mop up duty at the end. Beyond that we have a vet back up in Royster and guys like Holiday (very impressive in HS) and hopefully Shannon SMith who looked like a Chris Jones clone coming out of Marist. At DE we have Montgomery, Walker, Baird, Croley and Fry.

I hated to see Maynard go and wish he was still here...but thankfully we have the depth to take the hit.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
