At DE we have Montgomery, Walker, Baird, Croley and Fry.

I hated to see Maynard go and wish he was still here...but thankfully we have the depth to take the hit.
Terrance Bush looked awesome in his limited run at the end of I think the NIU game. By awesome I mean full of athleticism and therefore potential. I have no idea if I will ever even notice him again but for a few series he was running around covering kicks, making plays on defense....he looked a step quicker then everyone on the field.

There are 108 guys on the roster if you include the new 18 and take off the seniors. Any idea who the walk-ons are?

Maybe but we have not much size. Zach C is really a DE at most Division 1 schools. Royster at 250 at tackle- come on. If you are not 275 plus you have no business playing inside. Our depth needs work.

Royster is 5-9...if he were heavier than 250, he'd be wider than he is tall. Besides, he looks to be fifth in a four man rotation and when he's played, he's been solid. Colvin is listed at 286...I wasn't a math major but I'm almost positive that's more than 275...you're self declared minimum weight to be an inside lineman.

We're going to be fine....

Don't forget about Bryan Thomas at DE. I think Rosyter is probably starting heading into camp based on this year, but with the new coach and offseason who knows. But Royster is second on the team in sacks right now behind Ouellet.

I'd say we lost the most in the interior O-line, interior D-line and TE. After that we lost depth at the defensive back seven. We'll need some young guys to step up and i think we have them...they just are not proven yet.

Royster's a little beast out there. He and Colvin play both interior DL and DE sometimes. Royster at 5-9 really uses his low center of gravity well against big O-lineman.
