Also, I'm not a big baseball fan, but I'm not turning up photos of grey Falcon uniforms on the google machine. I see them wearing a lot of brown. That doesn't seem to have hurt recruiting; they won the MAC tournament last season.
Nice Pic, Schad.... and is that the adidas logo on the right shoulder...or is it some other company that DOES do brown.... I'm not totally opposed to working in some different looks... (was a bit surprised with the white helmets last yr)...but got used to the look... OTOH, the Grey did NOT make it...got used to seeing it, but still feel if we were going to break in a different look we should have stayed with school colors i.e. Brown...don't know how many of you remember the orange pants/brown jersies of the 70's/80's or so, but those looked sharp, even though some on this board don't seem to care for our school colors.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
Some of the baseball uniforms are almost 10 years old! They replaced the "brown" pinstripes a year ago were that old. The other factor here is that Adidas makes horrible baseball uniforms, so they have bought some other brands and don't show the insignias in the past.
Believe me, when I say that Mr Kingston is aware of the problem and working on a solution. He has a clue, as opposed the the last AD we had!
North Carolina (light blue and white) with black matte helmets in their bowl, UCLA (blue and gold) with the all black helmets and uniforms in their bowl, East Carolina (purple and gold) with all black helmets and uniforms in their bowl, Texas Tech (scarlet and black) with the grey jerseys in their bowl.....how dare Bowling Green wear grey jerseys in their bowl!!!

Black and grey go fine with all of those colors and pretty much any color you can think of -- except brown. I'm not making this up. Wear a brown blazer with black slacks to dinner and see what your sweetie tells you.
FalconTurf makes a fair point with that pic of the brown baseball shirts with grey pants. The difference there is that we are talking about a lighter shade of grey (I hear there are at least 50 of them). The lighter the grey (or, to put it another way, the less black), the less clash with brown.
Grey is the traditional baseball road color. The old Padres found alternatives to that, though -- and I think part of it was that they recognized that grey doesn't play very nice with brown.
