My hope is that Babers and his staff can come in and make this program better. With where things stand right now and with what we return next season, I think anything short of another MAC title and bowl win would be a step back. And I would be saying the same thing if it was Clawson returning next year and not Babers. With the tracking of this team over the last four years and the depth and development we've seen, anything short of that would be a major disappointment. The program Babers has inherited isn't anything at all like the one Meyer did, or even the one Clawson did. It is much more like the one Brandon took over, and in my opinion, one that is in even better shape than that one. This spring is going to be extremely important to lay down the foundation for the new scheme and get everyone one the same page.

Nah man, don't forget we're adding the Bahamas, Miami and Montgomery. The MAC bowl picture has never been brighter. We just need to start winning these bowls that we get into. Except the highest ranked champion of the "group of five" (MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, American, CUSA) is guaranteed a slot in one of the six "big bowls" (currrent BCS bowls plus Cotton and Peach).
