The worst part of it is that we haven't been close for 4 years. Same story, new year. NOTHING CHANGES. BG just "rolls along" as if this standard is ok. Lou is the first 4 year lame duck I've ever seen actually make the end. Speaks volumes to the commitment in the program. Last night was just hideous, awful, and pathetic. It was summed up even more when Orr did not foul down 5 with 10 seconds left. It didn't matter, but make an effort to the horn. The guy doesn't even know how to lose the right way.

BG is sitting on a scholarship. Maybelen is a clear redshirt. And in 4 years of wasted scholarship between Rorie and Gomez, a combined like 8 points and 26 fouls have been generated. All while they continue to try to figure out why the shooting percentage is horrendous. A college kid with video game experience could piece a roster together better than these 4 coaches. I can't wait to see where these guys end up. It might be more telling than the roster itself.

If you go to the rec, you can find 5 players that play pick-up ball and play less sloppy than this team while hitting more shots. In fact, I think I'd rather watch the 5 guys from the rec play, because at least they'll be entertaining to watch. We might all get to laugh a little bit.

Obviously Holmes is a big time keeper.

I really like what Parker can do against man, but he REALLY looked lost last night against that zone.

But guards? Guards? I told my fiance last night as we were watching it that I'm fairly certain I could get better guard play by taking guys off the football team than what we're getting right now. We have nobody that can distribute the ball at all. We have nobody that can shoot from the guard spot. Clarke can get to the bucket, but doesn't finish well in traffic around the rim, and instead seems to be waiting for the fall call a lot of the time.

Our guard play is just really really poor, and it's preventing this team from ever going anywhere. College basketball is a guard game and Orr has still yet to recruit a single good PG or shooter.

You dont see them being taught anything either. I'm not at the games but it seems that way. The other team comes down and collects themselves and runs plays. We seem to be in this how quick can I get the ball to the basket mode or lets play catch at the top while no-one else moves.
