Sue,
Joyce and I plan to be at KSU tonite...looking forward to seeing the Falcons for the 1st time this yr. (did see the guys against N.Dakota a few weeks back when we were close to BG)
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
RE: the ladies.....looked like their legs weren't under them, especially while shooting 3's (20% for game?)... probably due to not being able to practice much over past 3-4 days.
And while KSU is NOT a good looking team, they DO look better than in the past few yrs. Have a kid who shot the lights out from 3pt. land, though not getting many chances due to our D....

Went to the Kent/BG women's game Thursday nite. Had the chance to see some of the worst officiating in the past 20 years. Kent is a helter-skelter type of team--quickness is just about their only asset. Officials Angie Enlund, Linda Miles, J.B. DeRosa were completely befuddled. Some may say play was "physical", I say every Kent player fouls on every possession. The most dogged was #3 Larissa Lurken, who tried to put her body on the BG player she was guarding, and at the end of the play, give the BG player a little arm punch, or body bump or arm scrape. Called for one personal foul.
Why is the MidAm refereeing so bad?
