Brandon Busuttil, other walk-ons?

Post by BleedOrange »

Our bench is now very short with Chauncey out and Zach Denny remaining a mystery. We have a bunch of walk-ons, one in particular who seems to have an impressive pedigree - Brandon Busuttil. Wondering why we wouldn't work him into the rotation at this point in the season...

Here's his write up:

It makes no sense to redshirt a walk-on and it makes no sense to redshirt a guy when you are playing seven dudes. But it wouldn't surprise me if somehow he was given a scholarship without us knowing and then they decided to redshirt him for no reason.

That redshirt can come off any time....it's not like they say "he's a redshirt" and it has to stay that way all year...

That's a great point. I guess all walk-ons might as well be redshirts until they play.

I don't think it's a good thing when your highlight tape has you shooting free throws on it...

Normally...I's agree with you. But on this team, hitting a free throw is highlight reel worthy
