NIU at BG
Re: NIU at BG
BG 0-9 from the line in the 2H. Please fire Lou.
Re: NIU at BG
J.Clarke is 3-27 his last two games. That is 11%. Wow
Re: NIU at BG
I have no qualms about our D. Holding a team to less than 50, even NIU, is impressive. However ... how on earth do you accomplish that feat and lose by almost 10?

Forgot the game was on. I think that was a good thing.
6 blocks from Holmes
2 threes from Denney. I am excited.

This may have been our worse showing in the Orr era yet! This team is done. Over. Lost. Gone. We knew this two years ago and here we are suffering through it.
GO BG!!!

Re: NIU at BG
I was very excited that Denny played and for the most part, I was very encouraged. The only thing I saw that is worrisome is that his release is a lot slower than I thought. He seems to bend his whole body down before releasing and in more than a few instances, I thought it prevented him from shooting. His presence truly brought the place to life though (granted, there were not many people there). But most of those in attendance recognized when he checked in and clapped and cheered noticeably. The crowed was almost willing him to shoot. He missed his first three, but his second two -- both from the top of the key in probable NBA range -- were money and very impressive. They were both clean looks because I don't think the defender expected him to shoot from that far out. And in my opinion, after both makes, the crowed was as lively and excited as I have ever seen at the Stroh since probably the home win over UT a few years back. It was honestly pretty neat.
