+100000000!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Are you reading too much into this? Could it just be asking for money?

these guys have already ponied up for the "bring back the glory" campaign, so might be a bit soon to directly hit them up for cash again, lol. but who knows? maybe he can get them to come back for an event.
but even if he's just buying them a cup of coffee and filling them in on the current state of the program, it's the right thing to do.

Kingston was in California for a conference so it probably made sense to meet-up while he was there. I've heard there might possibly be some larger donations announced to close the campaign so it might have something to do with that plus a friendly visit with some generous alumni.

If our new AD had been in LA for ANY reason and without taking the opportunity to introduce himself to prominent alums in the area...THEN I'd be concerned.
