Sure didn't see THAT one coming. They were bound to win one sooner or later, but I didn't expect it would be on the road in Muncie.

Kent State beats NIU 67-57 to at the very least keep the bottom half of the West at bay.

Which brings up a question... do they seed the MAC Tourney by division? Or is it by the whole conference?

The 2 division champions get byes to the Gund, and the team with the next best record also gets a bye. The remaining 10 teams get seeded by best to worst record and play at home sites. Winners move on to the Gund.
