I'm not a huge fan of "cutting" but instead assist kids in furthering their education at BG for little to no money and/or providing whatever assistance in the transfer process . . . let's be honest here . . . There are several non D1 kids on this team and the new coach (since Orr is in the last year of his deal and will cost the University $0 to end its relationship with him) will want to rebuild as soon as possible.

It's not fair to the kids to speculate who and where they should go, but this team needs a serious makeover

In reviewing the discussions on here we know a few things to be fairly certain.

These 6 players will be on our roster next year

2 Clarke-Sr--Henderson-Sr
3 Parker-Jr
4 Holmes-Sr

Then we have 3 open scholarships
1-Unused 2013
2-Unused 2013
3-Sealey Graduating

We have 4 guys with some question of there return. I am neither pushing for or pushing against this return, I am simply recognizing that others have discussed the chance they do not return.
1. Gomez-Jr who has played sparingly
2. Orr-Jr Father not being retained as head coach
3. Mayleben-Fr Redshirted on a super thin awful team
4. Denny-Fr Redshirted due to injury

It is not without reason that we have 7 scholarships available for the new coach to use. (Although I thought there was some sort of limit). I can't imagine good things happening from spending 7 scholarships on other teams after thoughts and making them the centerpiece of your next four years.

One thing is for sure. It will be a crazy spring and summer with atleast 3 additions and a new coach coming aboard.
