Another 3rd period collapse. The roster still has too many holes in it. Carpenter needs to step it up and be a leader. Enough is enough.

We're in the cupcake conference and still getting smacked! I was thinking we just turn the Ice Arena into an overflow parking lot for the football team. However, women's basketball is continuing their successful ways so maybe we turn it into an auxiliary gym for the basketball teams. We'll figure something out. Do any of you have suggestions?

Shut it up? Hm... I guess that works, but wouldn't you want to try to utilize the arena or at least the space? Just leaving the building there shut up seems kind of pointless.

How is that a troll? We play in a crap conference that everyone said we would dominate and we get spanked on a normal basis. PLEASE don't be ignorant and avoid the facts that our team is under performing...AGAIN. Athletics is throwing money away to put this team on the ice and its a damn shame. The team has had more success this season than in the past (which isn't saying much) and our attendance numbers are down from years past. What's the point? We lose on the ice, we lose in the when it comes to money. It's a lose, lose.

This isn't the 1980's anymore, wake up!

Who said we were going to dominate this conference. Everyone knew coming in Mankato and Ferris would be the favorites and everyone else minus Huntsville would be fighting a very competitive race for 3rd through 9th. We were picked 3rd and 5th in conference polls and are currently tied for 4th, I'd say that's right where we are suppose to be based on preseason projection. As for "spanked on a normal basis" in conference, here is the amount that we've lost by in conference games - 1 (in OT), 2, 1 (in OT), 1, 1, 1 (in OT), 2, 3, 1 (in OT), 3. Six of our ten conference losses are by a goal (three in OT), and the worst margin of defeat is three (twice), and this is getting spanked on a regular basis? If that's getting spanked on a normal basis I can only ask what the hell the four plus goal defeats that we suffered when I was in school plenty of times are? This program was left for dead a few years back, winning isn't going to come overnight, it has to be built and learned, it was for BG football, Toledo men's basketball, and countless other programs that had to be rebuilt from the ground up. Now if we are in our current position within this conferences for a few more seasons then yes I think a change in leadership may then be needed. The record and win percentage has increased every year the current staff has been here, if that isn't seen as improvement I don't know what is then. Yes the competition isn't the same as the CCHA, and attendance may be down because the "name schools" don't have to come here anymore, but if that record and win percentage trend continues upward the attendance will go upward as well since everyone loves a winner.

IBleed has a point. We're having discussions on not even making the conference tournament in a conference that we thought we'd do very well in. Perhaps this team isn't as good as some people think it is.

Now, I'm not in favor of ending the program like IBleed is, but if some of you would take off your orange and brown glasses you'd see that we aren't as hot as we think we are.
