What a B!G win for the Falcons. CMU has been that constant thorn in our sides ever since they bounced us from the 2011 MAC Tournament, and I've never really liked them ever since I went to Mount Pleasant for a football game...the stuff I heard that night.
No rest for the weary though, a dangerous matchup at Buffalo lurks this weekend. This would be the perfect scenario for us to get stung if we have a letdown following a big victory. A victory there and BG is pretty much home free until the final game of the regular season at Akron.

I believe CMU has not won AT BGSU in the past 19 years.

That was a big win for BG. I just wish it could have been a little more competitive, especially in the second half. Unfortunately CMU was as cold as a rock sitting outside in the winter. Shooting 32% overall and only 14% from three point range won't get it done on most nights. Bradford couldn't hit the backboard with the ball let alone make a basket. But then maybe all of that had something to do with the BG defense. I guess we will have to wait for the MAC tournament to figure out which is the better team. Let's hope both teams can go undefeated until they meet again.

Thanks for recognizing BG's defense having an effect on CMU's offensive struggles...too many people refuse to do that...classy post.midlandchip wrote:That was a big win for BG.
