Don't worry Akron, help is on the way!!!

Post by BGSU33 »

Akron has lost three consecutive games, but rest assured Zip fans, guess who is on their way to town??? Louis Orr and the Bowling Green Falcons. Yes, the same Bowling Green program you have beaten 10 consecutive times and in 18 of the last 19 overall meetings. Just when it looked like there might be reason for a little concern in the Rubber City, the MAC schedule Gods have sent you a gift (coach Orr can verify that himself). Enjoy.
GO BG!!!

Ok...I get the digs... But if you read the Akron paper, the " reason for UA's struggles is supposed to be due to being " short handed" . Wonder if they' d had to play a whole season like BG, with a six-7 man "rotation" the whole season?

And no, this is NOT a defense of the coach, just an observation.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

Akron on 15-2 run. 6 BG Turnovers during this run. Pretty much clinched #10 seed.

120 min remaining in Coach Orr era.

Falcons getting blown out. 20 TWENTY turnovers late in the 2nd half. Louie is managing his timeouts well, he called his next to last with 2:55 left.

Can we celebrate the end of an Orra on Senior day? The last time I have to see that man coach a Falcon team.

Good riddance to the ENTIRE coaching staff. BG just ran out of gas at the end of the game. Playing 7 guys will do that to you.

Louie didn't want to call the timeouts. God just forced him to call those timeouts. Remember, God dictates this program, its coaching, its direction and its development. With God be the Glory. On to 4th grade basketball where you belong Louie!!! Good freaking riddance!!!

Maybe Orr can pick up a double technical and make an early exit

That would require Orr to use the coach of this programs name in vein. That's not gonna happen........

I want our women's team to do extremely well, but women's basketball just doesn't do it for me. I'm sorry, but there is a huge difference between watching men's basketball and women's basketball. It's not even close. We are Division I school, I want a legitimate Division I team, a legitimate Division I coach, and a legitimate Division I program at BG. The time for that is now! We have wallowed long enough.
GO BG!!!

Watching Florida and Wichita State against our beloved Falcons, big difference. Watching our men's program versus our Women's not much difference. Yes you get the Holmes slams but other than that our women at least can shoot, pass, play offense and defense and put a great product on the floor. I will be ecstatic when our men's program is up to or near that level of play
