Watching Florida and Wichita State against our beloved Falcons, big difference. Watching our men's program versus our Women's not much difference. Yes you get the Holmes slams but other than that our women at least can shoot, pass, play offense and defense and put a great product on the floor. I will be ecstatic when our men's program is up to or near that level of play

My point had nothing at all to do with watching our men's program versus watching our women's program. Our men's program sucks and our women's program is very good. My point had everything to do with men's basketball compared to women's basketball. I'm not saying what anyone else in the world should like more between men's hoops or women's hoops. Like one of them, like the other one, like them both. I am saying I love men's hoops and women's does nothing for me at all. I am also saying we have a women's program and we have a shell of a men's program. But let's not kid ourselves about what would happen if the two played one another. That said, I would give my left nut to have the kid of success on the men's side that we do and have had on the women's side.

Gmartin is right. I love women's hoops...they play a more fundamental game. Don't get me wrong...I dig men's hoops as well but at least our women's program has set the bar the rest of the league is trying to attain. I didn't go to the game last night at the JAR since Mrs Freak and I were in Strongsville visiting friends but I knew we weren't going to win. As long as Orr is the coach, BG cannot beat Akron.
