CMU's Bradford out indefinitely....

Post by Flipper »

She will miss the MAC tournament due to an injury suffered in practice on Tuesday. Huge loss for them, but sometimes a team will rally when they lose a superstar....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Whoa...that's a major game changer. Goodnight Chips.

The Lady Zips must be feeling very good about themselves now, their odds just improved dramatically. Toledo might be back into the mix somewhat now too if they can pull off the upset on Thursday

Akron still doesn't know the extent of the injury to Rachel Tecca either. At least that is what Coach Jodi Kest said on Monday. Tecca hurt her knee in the first few minutes of the game against BGSU on Saturday. I think she hurt the same knee that she had ACL surgery on 2 years ago. No announcement yet from Akron on her status.

Really? It's been 4 days since the game and there's no announcement on her status.

Akron must be keeping mum for gameplanning purposes or something, because that doesn't make a lot of sense otherwise.

If Tecca's not going to play either you might as well hand the trophy to BG right now.

Articles on Akron and Tecca in today's Plain Dealer and Beacon Journal both reference her knee causing her to sit out a major portion of the BG game but didn't make it seem like it will be a problem at the tournament this week. Tecca said she heard her knee "pop."

Here is an article on Bradford's injury. Hate to see this happen to anyone...
