BSU played a near perfect game we most certainly didn't....we desrve an at large bid. If we don't get it, the folly of conferences like the MAC having tournaments to decide the title will be apparent once again.

Not just having a tournament, but having this triple bye format for the top two seeds. If Akron beats Central Michigan then top two seeds in the women's tournament will be a combined 0-4 the last two years in the event. I haven't looked at the men's side to see if things have been similar, but the top two seeds for the ladies have not been getting the perceived advantage the triple bye is suppose to provide

Toledo finished 28-3 a few years ago when they won the NIT. They had RPI if 35. If they didn't get in then why would BG this time. Time to be real. I am not a fan of the triple bye.

I am at The Q and just came from Coach Roos' press conference. I can confirm that Lou Orr did not deliver the pergame and/or halftime pep talks to the ladies.

You know, the one advantage we had over the other bubble teams was the fact that we did not have a single bad loss on our resume.

Son of a b*tch. Honestly, I have to say the committee will probably to this game today and exclude us because of it. We had this thing completely in the bag and now it's all gone terribly wrong.

I hate conference tournaments. Although most won't feel this way, I feel like not getting into the NCAA tournament because of one bad day at the worst possible time makes everything we've done this regular season totally in vain. I hate this, and triple bye format has to go! We're 0-2 now with the 1 seed since this format started, and Toledo lost as the 1 seed last year too. Enough is enough MAC.

I agree...you force your two best teams to take on a team that's either pretty good themselves or red hot...or both..in a setting that team is already acclimated to. The tournament is a dumb idea...the triple bye is a even dumber idea.

Hard to say. You're also playing a team that has to be pretty tired. No excuses. We shot like crap and deserved to lose.

It could be a blessing...maybe we can buy a few home games and make a good run in the WNIT.
