thank you, Matt Wellens.

Bowling Green’s Chris Bergeron is an underrated coach

"Bergeron’s ability to get the most out of his players at this time of the year is impressive. His Falcons should not be overlooked in Grand Rapids. Don’t be surprised if this is they year they capture a postseason title. They seem to do their best work when no one expects them too."

Thank you, Matt Wellens!!

GO FALCONS!!
WIN TWO!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Matt Wellens must of had a little bit to much Green Beer when he wrote this article. The team barely got a home playoff series in a weak conference, but ya this coach is underrated. Give me a flippin' break. Again everyone on this site has their orange and brown glasses on, just take them off for ten seconds and look at reality. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

You have't said anything about the mens basketball team in their thread...you just love us so much over here, don't you? If only there wasn't volleyball and Women's Basketball in the Stroh, you probably would want to tear that down. I know how you feel.

just put trollboy on ignore and move on. he's...a...troll. he wants attention and nothing else.
only time most of us even know he's still skulking around is when somebody quotes him. if you don't quote him, he doesn't exist.
so please don't quote, thanks.

Ibleedorange must be confused on the lyrics to Ay Ziggy Zoomba. The lyrics are Roll Along You BG Warriors. Not, TROLL along.

It is a sign of good coaching when the team peaks around the end of the season. It can be so frustrating watching the team lose games in the first two thirds of the season that they should be winning but they are playing their best when it is all on the line, which can make up for early season flaws. I'll take Bergeron as long as he wants to be at BG.

and another sign of good coaching...

“We didn’t have one guy mentioned for all-league. It had to be done by committee, and I’m really proud of that committee.” — coach Chris Bergeron on his team getting shut out of the WCHA awards.
