BG/OU Predictions

We almost forgot to even do the predictions for this game. I still believe we have what it takes to close out a game, despite letting the last two slip away in the closing minutes. If we'd play to win and not to lose in the final minutes, we'd be okay. It always drives me nuts when teams stick to their game plan for 37 or 38 minutes and build and hold a nice lead, then play the clock the final two or three minutes and lose. They get away from what was working all game. Anyway, Ohio is the hottest team in the MAC right now and is my "sleeper" pick to win the MAC Tournament. Sorry, I'd pick BG, but since we've never done it before (even when we hosted it in Anderson Arena in 1983 and was beaten by - Ohio - a team we swept in the regular season that year), I won't believe it until I see it. As for tonight, it's make or break time for the Falcons. I believe the balance of our season rides on this game. Do we keep up the fight, or do we go down without a fight?

Not that you asked a hated Bobcat fan , but I can see this one going either way. OU is going to have to overcome not only a great effort by a BG team with its back to the wall, but also the disadvantage of playing on 1 day rest.

My heart says Ohio 76-71, but my head says BG 72-68.
