I would think an asst job at BG would pay equally or even be a pay raise for a DOB job at Iowa St. That's me. Typically DOB's are a fourth assitant or in football terms, a "recruiting coordinator" of sorts, among many other duties.

Micah Byars took home over $100k in 2013 at Iowa State which I'm assuming is more than our assitants make but maybe not.

I think everyone is happy to have new energy in the program, but the slumber has been longer than 7 years. The recently completed coaching tenure dovetailed with the work of the 5 years before it.
