Not to start another Hobey thread, but I just wanted to point out that Jordan is currently in first place by -- 2609 points! He's the only candidate with 5 digits worth of votes, too.
Get out there and keep voting!

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan
Mike Eruzione from the 80 US Olympic team was in a chat session last Tuesday on USCHO.com and CSTV and this is what he said. I thought it was interesting!
Jeff (carson city): Hobey Baker? Who wins it?
Mike Eruzione: At the beginning of the year, I predicted Jimmy Howards from Maine. But after reading the Sports Illustrated article about the goalie for Bowling Green (Jordan Sigalet), I'd it to him on principle alone
Just thought it was an interesting statement...now if he'd just watch him play, he'd know EXACTLY why Jordan deserves the Hobey!
Great post! Thanks for sharing that! You are right, in that, we all know why Jordan deserves the Hobey. Others need to check out his play to truly appreciate the talent the Jordan has to go along with the other criteria on the list!!!
GO ICERS!!
SWEEEEEEEEP THE NUTS!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

found this also on USCHO. Feel free to flame away at "MiketheMullet." While I haven't seen Tarkki play, I feel that it is unfair of this guy to say Jordan is leading the voting just because he said he has MS. He was the all CCHA first team goalie last year when basically NO ONE knew he had MS.

If that link doesn't work, just go to USCHO.com and look in the fan forum for the OSU/BG game thread.
GO FALCONS!
Wow... what a jerk... if you read his other posts on that site it's apparent he REALLY doesn't like BG or Jordan... I really hope Jordan gets Hobey Baker... let alone 2 victories at OSU this weekend... then that guy would have to eat his words. What a waste of space!
