BG baseball begins MAC East play at Akron

Falcons get things started with a 9-7 win in game one. That was Akron's first home loss of the season as the Zips are now 9-4 in the MAC and BG improves to 6-7 in the conference. Let's get at least one more and win this series. Go BG!

BG won game two, 11-5, to claim the series. Now the Falcons have to chance to earn their first sweep on Sunday. Go BG!

BG gets its first sweep of the year, taking three games against Akron with an 8-1 win on Sunday, moving the Falcons over .500 in the MAC for the first time this season at 8-7. We needed that with a tough series coming up next week with Kent State coming to town as we're still behind or tied with nearly the rest of the MAC East.
