Rivals showed that PF Delvin Dickerson of Paris TX JC was offered and is visiting BG today. Brief search showed Dickerson to initially have signed with S. Alabama in 2012 after HS graduation. Averaged 8.5 pts and 5.2 rbs. a game for a near .500 Paris JUCO squad. Listed at 6'7" and 215.

Doesnt look like he is 6-7 but may have grown. Has a utility forward feel like Chauncey Orr. Not a banging 4.

I know I'm an " old guy" , but the language used by Austin doesn't exactly reflect in a positive way.

The fact that our new coach is looking at signing a 2nd JUCO PG could probably be seen as a vote of "no confidence" in Clarke and Tisdale's ability to fill that role...

And count that as one vote of confidence in Jans ability to judge D1 guard talent from me.

We need guards desperately and anybody that says otherwise is fooling themselves. Kudos to Jans for recognizing the problem and trying to fix it immediately with Juco guys. Get some HS guys next year to fill in afterwards, but right now Jucos are just what this program needs to win next year.

Yep...Parker and Holmes with a decent PG is 3/5ths of a winning first unit..

I think that we have a two guard amongst Clarke-Henderson-Tisdale-Orr. Not sure which one but I'm betting there's one In there.

We have offered or had visits from 5 guys we know of in the last week 3 were pgs.

That will be a fun lineup to watch. Anything that the other three can give will be gravy.

By some comments on the Wheatshockers board they didnt stop recruiting for the year when they were full. Interesting is right.
