I have to tell you I have had more excitement over the last few days in regards to recruiting then I have had since we recruited Holmes and Parker.

This is where we are right now. I think it's night and day in terms of recruiting. If we get and hit on half these guys I think we are really going to improve quickly.

Interesting that none of these recruits are low post players. We don't have center or low post banger on the returning roster. As I recall, the Wichita State teams haven't had many of the low-post banger types,either. Wonder if it's part of Jans' philosophy.

I want someone who can eat up some time at the 5 so Holmes doesnt get into foul trouble and can be just as aggressive his senior year. He is a great help defender.

Kudos to coach Jans. Comes in on a short timeline and puts together what looks like a pretty damned good class so far. Worrell looks like an insane athlete. Dickerson looks like a good combo forward...looked like a more athletic version of Chauncey to me. Joseph looks like a guard who actually has some athleticism and showed some ability to make passes in that video...

I'm no basketball scout, so I won't even claim to be good at projecting what kids will do when moving up a level, but I have to say these kids looks like they've got some talent.

I'm really excited about the likes of Worrell, Parker, and Holmes in the front court at the same time. There's no true center in that mix, but there isn't a team in the MAC that can match that level of athleticism up front.

The recruiting success is encouraging and critical for the long term future of the program but I'm also excited to see what Jans can do in terms of player development. Unfortunately we won't be able to see the returns on that for a few months.

I'd hesitate to play Holmes and Worrell at the sme time because they look like the same guy. It could get really crowded in the blocks with those two on the floor at he same time
