BG drops another one-run game, this one to Miami

BG fell to Miami in the series opener, 5-4 in extra innings. Baseball is following in the footsteps of football with all these close losses this season. The Falcons are just 1-6 in one-run games including 0-4 in one-run games in the MAC. BG is now 10-9 in the MAC with nearly half of their losses coming by a single run. The Falcons came into this series on a solid run and hopefully can bounce back and get a win Saturday, but it sure would be nice to see them flip the trend in these one-run games.

Miami won the series by taking game two, 3-1. BG will try and salvage the series tomorrow.
