Vanderheir!!!!!!

Post by Germainfitch1 »

My main man!!!

Who was it that kept asking why he wasnt playing more?

Not to toot my own horn but it was me.

Vanderheir will be a force in the middle for the next 3 seasons and I was wrong to initially question the signing. I would gamble that he will be on tbe MAC All-Freshman team and if he has any kind of work ethic will add pounds by the time he graduates, be MAC player of the year as a senior and be our next player to get drafted. Vanderheir!!!!!!

7 Blocks and a bunch of rebounds and some athleticism shown on his dunks. If we can get another year of Eligiblity for Wrigt In 2 years we will be MAC champs!

Don't get too caught up in your english degree.

I made a post on here a few weeks back asking why he wasnt playing more because he would have to be the guy to step up in the middle next year with the graduation of Eyink, Almanson and Reimold. In that post I called him Vanderheir.

Isn't this your website?

Scott played a big time game tonight....I can see why Dakich thinks he is gonna be a star in the MAC someday....I thought it was so cheap when they called that T on him though, didn't seem to me he hung on the rim at all, his momentum just carried him. I loved it when he threw it down with no time left to show refs who wears the pants around AA.

Let it go Grant...we already know he can't spell players names! Just look at his screen name :D

Regardless of what YOU called him, what does the "Vanderheir" come from? If its an inside joke, or a movie line or something, maybe it makes more sense, but its just confusing me now.

And if he gets more minutes down the stretch and displays a bit of this defensiveness, MAYBE he gets a nod on the all-Freshman team, though I don't know what other freshman centers are out there. Tonight's performance sounds like it was outstanding, but he's still only AVERAGING 1.7 pts, 1.3 rebs and a block a game, and that's INCLUDING a 6 pt/6 reb/7 block performance. I'd love to see him get an honor like that, but there's work to be done.

Yeah but it also includes a lot of games where he has played one or two minutes. Scott can play.

I've thought for awhile that he could at least be serviceable to give Eyink & Almanson a rest in the paint, but looked better than I could've imagined last night. Its insane to expect that kind of effort on a daily basis from a freshman, but I'd like to see him continue to get a chance. Whenever he's played this season he has displayed an ability to time his leap and be long in blocking shots.

My English degree has nothing to do with giving a student athlete the respect of calling him by the right name. Or was that supposed to be a pun?? As in "Heir to the throne?" I just assumed, since you didn't spell Germain's name correct in your screen name that you probably didn't spell Scott's name correctly either.

I don't understand what the "Isn't this your website?" question is about?? But yes, it is.

Good luck with that. It would be like Christmas, birthday, winning the lottery all rolled into one.
