The BGSU men's basketball team, 13-6 and 7-4, will host Arkansas-Little Rock at 1 p.m. February 19 on Bracket Buster Saturday with the game being shown on ESPN Full Court. The Trojans are 14-8 and 6-4 in the Sun Belt Conference. BGSU will play a game next year at UALR as part of the agreement for participating in the Bracket Buster series.

The Falcons are 3-1 in Bracket Buster related games having split two games with Illinois-Chicago and winning two games with Youngstown State since the event began two years ago. The Falcons played UALR twice during the 1999-2000 season winning in Bowling Green, 91-84, and in Little Rock, 66-53.

How 'bout these apples? Damn you ESPN!

ESPN and ESPN2 will televise six games that day. And a source told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette the UALR-Bowling Green game was considered the seventh-best game, putting it among five that will be shown on ESPN Full Court. Twenty-one other games will not be televised.

Looks like we just missed again. Just like we were the 66th best team, and missed the NCAA by one team. We missed out, no one to blame but ourselves. We would be sitting just fine if we did not blow the leads at OU and collapse against Akron. 9-2 in the MAC would have gotten us on ESPN
