Babers said he couldn't comment on the situation when asked. He did say Houston was not currently with the team or even on campus.

Saw this on the website, but does anyone know if they are eligible to play this year? I saw they were trying to get a waiver to play this year. The article mentioned they joined the program but didn't say anything about having to sit out or if they are eligible to play this season.

I wonder what the scholarship situation is when all the dust settles from the comings and goings. We were at or extremely close to 85 last year.

Tough to say on schollies. There are so many walk ons and transfers I'm never sure who has them and who does not. Its rarely made public as far as I can tell other than signing day for new recruits.

Terrel Jackson (DL xfer from Pitt), Korey Stills (WR walk on) and Scott Davis (TE) no longer on roster. Not sure if this is new but I just noticed it today.

Corey Madlock moved from DL to OL and changes number from 96 to 73.
Clay Rolf is our new "slash" player moving back to TE but has both 82/75 numbers assigned.

I don't expect either of them to be eligible but that would be pretty slick if they were on the field next friday.

I think there's a great chance that Malik plays this year. He missed a year due to injury already so I think his waiver will go. Rhodes, I think is pretty unlikely.

I was disappointed to see Jackson is missing. I heard good things about him and thought he could fill that need at DT for us.
