Have stayed at the Super 8 in Elizabethtown the past couple years for the Derby. It's adequate. Nothing incredibly special, possibly a touch on the "dingy" side (though, as I said, we stayed there twice and would probably do it again), but for a low rate and a place to lay your head to break up a trip, it's not bad. We've also stayed at the (I believe) Best Western there. Also alright, especially if they finally fixed the roof leak above the pool area.

As far as Louisville goes, we've eaten at Proof on Main a couple times. One dinner, one breakfast. It wasn't bad, the breakfast was pretty good, IIRC. I think it gave the appearance of being higher-scale, but I don't think it's close to coat and tie. Has local art on the walls and an art gallery in the basement. And red plastic penguins.

I would say its business attire, but I wouldn't think a jacket would be required. The hostess that returns the call for reservations was extremely kind and gracious with questions like that.

The night we went, it was your choice of either a 4 course or a 5 course meal. As we sat and enjoyed a cocktail, the chef brought out an additional "tasting" that was "on him." The bill at the end of the night would suggest otherwise, but we enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner there and would do it again, gladly.

They return 9 starters on offense including 4 on the line. Their defense is practically all first year starters. Going to be an exciting opening game.

Who all is going? Ordered my tickets through BGSU yesterday. The seller said tomorrow (8th) is the last day to purchase them from the school so I thought I'd let anyone know who had been putting off buying them.

If all goes well with traffic we plan to be in BGky by about 3 central that afternoon.

I purchased my tickets last week through WKU, sitting in section 331. Plan on getting there around the same time.
