Outside of Matt Johnson this offense skill group strikes me as a group that will rush to see their stats after this game despite the loss. I hope that's not a trickle down effect from the coach.

I have a feeling that the offense will be fun but we will hate this lack of care about defense.

This team was not ready to play! I really don't know what to say or think about the 2014 season. However, this is what separates BGSU from the successful mid majors. We CANNOT sustain success over multiple seasons. Other teams have been able to do that. Until we figure it out we will be happy with lightning striking every 20 years or so.

It's all about the coaching. We can't expect to hire coaches with completely different philosophies and expect consistency. This is exactly what happened to Michigan with Rich Rodriguez. Except that we've also managed to rip our defense to shreds.

Babers' D was very good and aggressive under McCloud. McCloud clearly miscalculated the WKU offense. This abysmal performance goes on poor execution (tackling and coverage) and terrible coordination. Both ultimately come down to the coordinator.

Babers is a coach with a defensive background and his coordinator allowed nearly 600 passing yards. I'd personally let the coordinator go and coordinate the D myself in this position.
