So he's not gone for the season then?? That would be a huge boost if he's not lost for the season.

Per Wagner...he is not in uniform...I think I read earlier in the week before Strack kicked the hornets nest that he was "ill". How ill seems to be a key question

I'm listening to a radio broadcast of the VMI game and they mentioned that there were 24 BGSU players in street clothes along the sidelines.

That's like ONE FOURTH of a normal home roster!!!!

What the heck is going on here, folks?

I can't see the game, but I am getting that the defense is still playing 10 yards off the receivers. I guess since it worked so well against WKU, they decided to stick with it.

I don't get the big cushion at all. Indiana is going to score 60 next week if this is how they want to play coverage.

One of those 24 was Terrel Jackson, xfer from Pitt. He was no longer on the roster but appears to still be on the team.

What's not to get? They're struggling to cover. They need those cushions right now.

If that's true and everything I have seen through two game points that way:

1. The previous coaching staff did one hell of a good job covering up an untalented defense. I don't see one standout player on defense right now. The play comes to them, never the other way around.

2. Every other game on the schedule will be tough to win. I can't see them giving up any less than 500 yards every week if VMI can move the ball that easily. Yeah they only scored 7 points but they moved the ball pretty easily.

I still don't know where we're at on offense. They've looked great at times and some plays have left me scratching my head which is understandable. Today wasn't a good gauge because VMI was outmatched. Obviously a lot of talent on offense but they're going have to be excellent if what we're seeing on defense is the new norm.

Babers sadi he "can't comment" on Colin during today's press conference. That makes me think it's a non-football related issuelike an illness. If it isn't a creer ending problem...he could play next year since he never redshirted before.
