They could barely get first downs announced before the next snap.

As much as the dink and dunk stuff was hard to watch at times leading to only 12 points, it kept IU off the field. It also had a cumulative effect on tiring the IU defense. Those were mostly long drives and by the second half the Hoosiers were gassed.
I thought the defense did an admiral job for about 2 and a half quarters. Have seen it many times over the years watching BG, once their big back gets a long TD run... seems like tackling, fundamentals and position all go out the window for the rest of the game. Luckily he was held mostly in check while we were scoring field goals.

We had four FG's in the first half...in part...becausde our QB was a tad off on some of his throws. There were a couple of plays..at least...where the reciever had a seam to run up if theball had hit him in stride. I suspect that the offense will really be off the charts when Knapke has a few more starts under his belt and he gets more comfortable back there.
I knew we had run a ton pf plays...but i was stunned when I hear on the postgame show that we had run 113.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
