I just wanted to throw that out there, Krebs would know first hand how well Brandon has done.

Yeah, but I don't think osu fans would want to fire a coach that got them a national championship for a coach that will be going into his third year as the head man.

There's one thing you should know about tOSU, the AD doesn't hire and fire coaches. The alumni tells the AD who to hire and fire.

no way would they fire tressel. he got them a national title and he wins the big games (michigan 3 out of 4 and bowl games) and he hasn't done anything wrong. he doesn't control what the booster's at ohio state do. he isn't paid to keep them away from doing stupid $h!t like try to give players money. tressel isn't even at fault for smith taking the money he can't keep an eye on the kids 24/7. the schools have programs the boosters and players go through to educate them whats right and wrong and the consequences and all players and boosters go through it. if they still break the rules that is not tressel's fault. he will not lose his job. he is a god at ohio state

This sounds exactly like what they were saying at YSU a few years ago.

also, they aren't in trouble yet anyways. there are allegations yes, but innocent till proven guilty. the NCAA hasnt even started investigations. how are they in trouble? when the president of the NCAA says how ohio state should be a model institution for how they handle recent incodents would make me think they are anything but in trouble. they have always been quick to punish when they find out about problems. the media of course is going to make things seem worse than they really are. clarret is going to say things to make it seem worse than they are because he is trying to make up for HIS bad decisions which he still continues to make (backing out of that all star challenge thing is just another example of him backing out of commitments). and some of you are going to believe everything said because of your hatred. thats fine but nothing has been found or investigated yet so until something is found, they are not in trouble, there are only allegations and thats more than likely all they will ever be.

I don't have an answer ($$$) to why he wasn't fired. Just that your description of his time at OSU sounds very similar to the description of Tressel's time at YSU. That's it.

My answer to your question is no, I don't think he would hire him, although strangely, I think the statement above summarizes why. Gregg Brandon is a long, long way from being offered a head coaching job at a BCS school, much less a top-5 program.
