Re: UB-BG game will be blacked out in Ohio on ESPN3
This has nothing to do w/ blackouts per se, but does anyone have a clue why BG/UMASS game was Not available on RADIO in Cleveland? Supposed to be either 1220 or 1420. Mich game was on 1220... But AKRON was on 1420 as well as 1350, the usual Akron station. Wouldn't have been able to listen to whole game, but NO game?

What's a radio?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Really?? Blacked out on ESPN3? Why the F did the MAC make that 13 yr deal with ESPN? Josh has a CC meet in the late AM and I gotta have a feed somewhere.

I talked to someone at Buckeye Cable this morning, they explained that if a game offered by ESPN on Gameplan is purchased by a local or regional broadcast then they as rights holders have the option to apply a blackout. Because BCSN purchased this game they can essentially shut out anyone else in the state of Ohio from viewing the game. Makes no sense outside of northwest Ohio but there you have it.

Sounds like BCSN (which I have never seen, living in Columbus) are being priggish about it. Frankly, I'd rather listen on the radio than watch ESPN on-line. But I admit to being "old school".

How many times do we do this weird dive at their ankle slap tackle. Who taught our players this?

Looks like another double digit lead change game. Hopefully we have the ball last.

That's a big INT for the defense.
