Confirmed on twitter and my God, if a kid ever needed a nickname, its Malik. I can't wait to hear Todd and the radio guys have a field day with this one.

Welcome Malik!

Well, he teaches us how to pronounce his name in the video...what a personable young man. Got a charge when he mentions the new transfer bringing some " color" to the team...followed by a big grin. \:D/

He's a darty, ziggy-zaggy, jet waterbug lefy with an evil cross over and a step-jumper and a 37'' vertical leap. haLOOchaWEKY is my new favorite BG player!

Oh, and he sees the floor and finish at the rim using various mid-air contortions. Brbrbrbr. I love this kid.

Olly oopy, up and under. Start and stppy, blow right by-y. Zip zing. Mee-meep.

If the kid's got some quicks and a good stroke no reason you cannot be a great SG at the MAC level, even if only 5'11

Yep, yo can succeed as a 5-11 SG...No question about it...I just didn't see a PG on that video, so I'm not sure why he's listed as such.

Agreed, He is even listed as a SG in his videos.

Now he seems to have the quicks for the spot and the athleticism, it could just be that he is not asked to distribute on his team. Guys develop into pgs all the time. Just not for BG :). It's unlikely he is asked to do is as a Freshman but he could be a solid PG by his So year. Who knows.

eehh, what? ....Alright, enough. Jans didn't recruit this kid to be a 5-11 SHOOTING guard. Not for the MAC. Not for a CYO B team. Why do either of you even jump to that conclusion in the first place? Think.

Why would you call him a PG when he plays off the ball? It's not like he's taking the ball, breaking down the defense and creating....he's working to get open, catching and shooting it...you know...like a shooting guard.

Agree with flip here. He plays shooting guard in the video and in the video he is listed as a shooting guard. The only place that I can see him listed as a point guard is Verbal Commits page. I won't foreclose on the idea that he could become a point guard, he flashes nice handles and made a couple nice passes but atleast for 2013-2014 his role was shooting guard based on the video. Anything else is a projection.

I thought I read that he was a PG but changed to SG part way thru the season, which made his team better. If that is the case, he may well have the mentality of a point guard.
