BG sure has some nice depth at running back...and we need it.

Still not sure how good this team is but sure glad we're 6-3. Defense has really stepped up. Not sure where the offense is but it's nice to know we can win a game like this.

Big win. MAC East is hapless this year but it's always nice to win the East (assuming we don't lay an egg against Kent).

Huge win tonight! It wasn't pretty and we got really banged up tonight but it goes down as a win. Sets up a very important game next week vs Kent State. No matter their record we must come out and play well next week. Roll Along Falcons!

Just back from the stadium...love the way the D is playing. Running game was BiG tonight. On to next week and a chance to clinch another trip to the Motor City.

UT's QB finished their game in street clothes and on crutches and Kareem Hunt is banged up....again. Nov 19 is looking interesting. But...let's deal with Kent 1st.

And I watched a lot of guys limp off the field tonight at Akron...Craziest thing I've seen in a while, these injuries.

Babers was asked about the glove thing. Said gloves lose " tackiness" when wet, makes even harder to catch.

Two quick thoughts. May have more later.
1. Receiver drops. I expected them. Gloves are great until they get soaked, and at that point you are better without gloves regardless of the manufacturer. When it is that wet, you want to actually be able to feel and grip the ball.
2. This defense loomed like the 2012-13 defense. What a turnaround from game 1!!

Let me just say, overall, this was an exciting game. People complained it was boring because 150 points weren't scored. We went out there in crappy weather and took it to them. That was a fantastic game to watch.
ROLL ALONG!!!
