Totally off topic and my apologies if this was discussed in the game thread but I don't have enough battery to review it. Dieter was targeted several times early and looked great but then I don't recall seeing him after those first few throws his way. Was he on the field after that or did he get reinjured? I'm in the hospital for a few days and was pretty doped up with medications after surgery yesterday so if he was still out there later in the game then I missed him. Parts of the game are a little fuzzy to me. I know babers guards injury info like a national security secret but was hoping someone might know something.

He was in the game. Akron's D started covering him tighter which opened up Lewis some. Dieter showed a good early spark. I think he has a big game or two yet this season ...

Thanks Mark. I agree, he showed well when the ball came his way. He clearly has the ability to make plays. I would like to see him factored prominently in the game plan moving forward.

That one catch he had over the middle with the ball thrown behind him was great. Was surprised that was about the last time we saw him on TV.

Just a great all-around performance. Commitment to the ground game, Knapke making good decisions, receivers making plays, and the defense.....wow! I knew they had it in them. That's why they frustrated me so much all year bc I knew it wasn't a lack of talent. And we have two great corners for the next three years. Stephens/Johnson what a duo!...Time to just keep rolling along, kick some that tsun ass, and win another league title.
