Last year we peaked as a team at exactly the right time. This year the defense is peaking but the offense has regressed but still has three games against less-than-stellar defenses to get things sorted out.

This offense seems like it needs absolute, total precision to function properly. If one tiny thing breaks down or the timing is slightly off then the whole play does. When it's on it's close to unstoppable but when it's off it can barely function. There's almost no middle ground.

When Babers said it takes until the 5th game of Year 2 to really get going he wasn't kidding. Nevertheless, there's no question that we're talented enough as a team to win a championship this year while the training wheels are still on. If they score 20 a game and convert a 3rd down every now and then that should be enough and we're more than capable of that.

I'm sorry but if the system isn't working as planned, try something different.

I want to win now, not the 5th game of year 2.

I thought by the tenth game the offense would look much better than this. Thankfully the defense has greatly improved. If we could put both together both sides of the ball in every game left we will be in great shape.
