Wow. Not one real national game for BG all year (I don't count ESPN3). And nothing where BG is hosting a game. I will bet that one of those wildcard games ends up being a BGSU game...because I think the schedulers have greatly underestimated how much BG will be a factor in who wins the MAC this season.

Will games still be free on the MAC website?

Pretty sure that the new ESPN contract gave them exclusive rights to TV & web streaming.

Hmm, so now they will play 3 games on ESPN instead of all games on the MAC website. Seems like a pretty smart move by the MAC to really help out it's fan base.

Additional appearances will be made through other conference television agreements and various in-season tournaments.

The vagueness of that statement leaves a lot of room for the imagination.

That's one of the big reasons I've been upset with the new deal. We basically gave espn complete control of all Mac sports. May make so e extra money for football but really hurts basketball fans when we are used to getting all the games on the website.

As somebody without espn 3 it means I won't be able to see a single road game unless we somehow make it on one of the tv networks.

Hammb, as a Directv customer for 20 years I know how you feel. This is what I did, and I even live in Indianapolis and it worked for me. I called Time Warner Cable and told them I wanted new service established. I gave them a street name but with a bad address. Regardless they set me up for service with my phone number I provided (I got a 419 cell number of a free text web service ). I set my service install date two weeks out. The very next day after I called for installation I went onto Time Warner and created an online account using the bad address and phone number. I then went to WatchEspn and set up my account there using my Time Warner login. I then waited one more day and cancelled my Time Warner account. ESPN only authenticates one time so I am set for ESPN3. I even got 3 new computers since then and I can still login.

Another option, borrow a good friends login information. Once saved you won't need it again. You can be logged on up to 5 devices at a time under the same account login.

I hate tricking the system but damnit, I have Genie and 9 DVR boxes. I pay for every sports package, NHL, NFL, MLB packages. I pay over $200 a month I am getting ESPN3.
